Christian Kloss ALERE Director of Connected Health Dr. Chrisitan Kloss is Alere’s Director of Connected Health outside the US and Managing Director of Alere’s German eHealth business, the Gesellschaft für Patientenhilfe DGP. Prior Christian worked for Sandoz, a division of Norvartis, and before for many years as a consultant for McKinsey & Co., Inc., where he has served clients on strategic, organizational and operational issues across the health care industry. Earlier Christian was an resident physician and research fellow at the Department of Neurology at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. He received his PhD from the Max-Planck-Institute for Neurobiology in Martinsried, and his MD based on his medical training in Freiburg, Belfast, New Orleans, Boston and Munich.
Emma Garde SANOFI Senior Project Manager Healthcare Solutions & Partnerships After several years as an external and internal auditor, Emma has joined the PCS Team "Patient Centered Solutions" as Senior project manager within Customer Solutions & Innovation. Jari Renko Helsinki Uusimaa Hospital Group Director, Information Systems Jari Renko is Chief Information Officer (CIO) in Helsinki and Uusimaa Hospital District, a group of 20 hospitals providing specialist medical care to patients in Uusimaa area of southern Finland. With a degree in technology and engineering and a background in Telecommunications and Information sciences, Jari is constantly seeking new ways for applying information technology to help with the day-to-day running of a University Hospital. His special emphasis is on relieving clinicians from repetitive administrative tasks, increasing availability and transparency of flow of information while focusing on patient safety. He is convinced that the most pressing challenge for information technology in today's hospitals is making IT transparent, easy to use and readily available to support clinicians in their day-to-day tasks.
Javier Quiles SERGAS Head of IT Project Management

Since 2010 Javier is Head of IT Project Management Service at Galician Healthcare Service (SERGAS), the Government Agency for Healthcare which provides healthcare services to more than 2.700.000 citizens in Galicia. He works in the development of Electronic Health Record and ePrescription system – IANUS, currently deployed in 14 hospitals and more than 430 Primary Care Centres.

Javier is at present the Program Manager of two strategic innovation programs at Galician Health Service: "Hospital 2050" and "Innova Saude".The two projects will develop until 2015, with a total funding of 90 M€. He aligns this task with the position of Head of IT Project Management Service. He is also involved in EIP-AHA initiatives and participates in CIP ICT-PSP projects in eHealth related topics.
Jean Marc Bourez SANOFI Cardiology eHealth Manager eHealth Manager for French affiliate in Drugs, Devices ans Customers Franchise. Mr. Bourez is in charge of digital initiatives in cardiology and eHealth solution development to improve compliance and disease management. MadisTiik, MD, Phd Finnish innovation fund Sitra Senior adviser Madis Tiik has been involved in eHealth development projects in Estonia from the beginning in 2005.As medical doctor with strong knowledge in IT he provides professional expertise to ensure the Estonian Electronic Health Record services serve the best interests of medical staff and patients. In recent years he has also counseled several foreign e-health related institutions and has actively contributed to Estonian eHealth Foundation’s work as the national e-health competence center. In September 2012 he started as a senior adviser in Finnish innovation fund, advising ehealth integrations and self-care service development projects.
Marko Kilk North Estonia Medical Centre CIO Marko Kilk is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) in the largest hospital in Estonia, North Estonia Medical Centre, that provides tertiary care to over 900 000 people. With extensive experience in both IT consulting and building e-banking services, Marko has the right mindset to make information technology as an enabler for the medical personnel. The hospital recently launched their own iPad app for doctors to get better access to medical data, being the first in Estonia and many other countries to make information mobile in the hospital. Marko is focusing on usability and emphasizes the importance of user-involvement and flexibility building novel e-health services. He knows what it takes to make a solution succeed in the health care environment.

Vishal Gulati Radiant Capital Founding Partner VishalGulati is the founding partner at Radiant Capital - a cross border investment fund anddigitome which is a digital health innovation platform and Chairman of Connect Digital Health. Previously, Vishal was an investment manager at Atlas Venture, a global fund with U.S. $ 2.2 billion under management, prior to which Vishal was an advisor to theWellcome Trust, one of the world's largest research foundations where he was involved in structuring the £110m post-genomic investment strategy of the Trust. Vishal has had active involvement with several public and private companies as non-executive director (Enigma Diagnostics, UK; Psynova Ltd; MGI India), and has board level oversight with companies such as Renovo andCrucell. Nielsen is responsible for Health & Assisted Living Technologies and International Relations at DELTA, a Danish Research & Technology organisation. He has a long (since 1991) track record of working at the national level in politics and ICT, of running large national projects in the public sector within the elderly and health care sector, and of developing and implementing nation-wide ICT & mobile solutions. He has been the Local Government’s member of the steering committee of MedCom (Danish health data network), the National Health Portal and contributed to the Danish national ICT strategies for eHealth. He was recently appointed as special adviser for the Danish government's Council for Telemedicine. He is Vice chair of Continua Health Alliance Europe.

Molnar Alex Alere . Dr. Alexander Molnar, a physician by training, has many years of experience in business development, along with broad expertise in the health sector. He is co-founder of several companies and served as CEO in one of these companies since many years. Prior Dr. Molnar was a consultant at McKinsey & Company, where he has worked with clients on strategic, organizational and operational issues. Dr. Molnar was a member of McKinsey's Healthcare Practice. He was a founding member of the German hospital core group.
